Neuroscience and Ethical AI
This week Stella Collins of Stellar Labs and I hosted a discussion about the intersection of neuroscience, ethical AI, people, and work. We had a plan but ended up having a more in-depth conversation thanks to the insights and questions from our curious and informed audience. HIGHLlGHT REEL from Stella Collins (Thanks, Stella!) CHALLENGES😱 Fear and uncertainty about how to use AI effectively, how to maximize peoples capabilities, potential costs (financial and so many more).⁉️ The concern that people are suggesting AI is just another trend.😕 Is AI making us stupid?🦉 If AI is fueled by your subject matter experts…

AI’s Next Frontier: MCP -> Uniting Users and Data
Does your AI operate in silos, disconnected from vital datasets and contextual awareness? Imagine a world where AI systems fluidly integrate with data repositories, enabling real-time data access, seamless cross-platform interactions, and unprecedented efficiency in decision-making. Anthropic’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) is leading this revolution, eliminating fragmented integrations, setting a new benchmark for intelligent, data-driven AI systems. ⚡️ The Challenge Current AI architectures struggle to connect directly with diverse datasets. Instead, they often depend on custom-built connectors, which are cumbersome and limit efficiency. These limitations inflate costs, hinder scalability, and pose significant challenges to developers and enterprises striving for seamless…

What is the hidden currency 💲 of enterprise AI success?
TRUST, which is why I ❤️ my LinkedIn 💪 superpower – Building trust-centered #AI transformation at scale! 2024 proved something powerful: as AI capabilities expand exponentially, human leadership in responsible implementation becomes even more critical. Leading AI governance initiatives this year revealed how organizations succeed with AI – not through rushing adoption, but by building trust through #ResponsibleAI implementation. 2024’s 🔑 key lesson: Organizations succeeding with AI focus first on building trust through responsible governance, then on technical implementation. Without trust as the foundation, even the most advanced AI capabilities fall short. Looking ahead to 2025: To every organization working…

ChatGPT for Creatives
Within about 5 minutes and some creative prompting I got 5 images to inspire a new collection and I’m not a 🥿 shoe designer. I described to ChatGPT what I envisioned and DALL-E 3 came up with the images. My most successful single-shot prompts were: All the other images required a bit of back and forth communication to tweak and zhuzh. Is your Workforce Responsible AI Ready?
“2 of the most critical challenges for scaling GenAI are: 1️⃣ Building trust (in terms of making GenAI both more trusted and trustworthy) & 2️⃣ Evolving the workforce (addressing GenAI’s potentially massive impact on worker skills, roles and head count).”* 🏢 Companies everywhere are feeling the pressure—AI is here, and it’s transforming the way we work. But for AI to truly work for us, we need 2 things: ⚙️ Responsible AI is about building AI systems we can trust—transparent, fair, and accountable. 👨🏫 Workforce readiness is about empowering teams to understand, adopt, and innovate with AI. 🔗 Together, they pave…

Nexus: A Brief History of Information Networks from the Stone Age to AI by Yuval Noah Harari
I’m finally reading Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari and looking forward to moving right into Nexus: A Brief History of Information Networks from the Stone Age to AI afterward. Harari covers the hard-to-see quotidian delegation of decision-making to AI in Nexus’ 2nd half. Decision provenance and explainability are even harder to discern when multiple AI systems and agents interact. We bolster governance for sensitive and high-risk AI use cases and also need to monitor uses deemed “low-risk”—particularly as more and more AIs interweave into our daily lives and outcomes. After Nexus, I’ll have to have a look…
